Definitions

This document commonly refers to 'Adire Ltd' as 'we' and 'us'. Any person who uses the Adire web site, participates in any Adire business relationship or contract will be referred to as 'you' or 'customer'.

The following are the terms and conditions for the use of the Adire website and all related Adire services.

By visiting or using this site ‘Adire.co.uk’, any of its affiliate's or enter into a contract with Adire you explicitly agree to be bound by and agree to follow these terms and conditions of use.

Adire reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, these changes will be posted on the Adire internet site and will come in to effect immediately. You will be responsible in viewing this page periodically and Adire will not be responsible for any negligence on your behalf.

If you contravene these terms and conditions, Adire may cancel any services or agreements without refund and/or take any appropriate legal action against you.

1. Hosting

1.1 You will be held responsible for and accept responsibility for any defamatory, confidential, secret or other proprietary material available via your page(s).

1.2 We reserve the right to remove material deemed inappropriate from your web pages, without prior notice. We do not allow adult, warez or illegal MP3 web sites on our servers.

1.3 Data kept on our servers is normally backed up on a daily basis. However we cannot be held responsible for any loss, and/or damage to your data.

1.4 Hosting contracts are paid in advance and are non refundable should the contract be broken.

1.5 The client must give 1 month notice before ending a hosting contract early or Adire cannot make necessary preparations for the safe transfer of the website to a different hosting company.

1.6 Unmetered bandwidth does not mean unlimited bandwidth. We can and will terminate the contract if we feel that bandwidth is being extensively used.

1.7 When we offer a free complementary hosting package it is limited to 100 000 page views per month unless otherwise stated. Should the website recieve more than 100 000 page views in a single month then the complementry hosting package will end at the end of the same month. Should you wish to continue hosting with Adire you will need to start a new hosting contract.

1.8 A charge of £30+VAT will be applied to safely transfer your website to another website hosting company.

2. Web Design

2.1 You will be responsible for the content of your pages, including obtaining the legal permission for any works provided by you and ensuring that the contents of these pages do not violate UK law.

2.2 We reserve the right to refuse to construct a web site which we may judge as unfit due to content or otherwise. This includes, but is not limited by, sites containing adult oriented material such as pornography, sites which promote hatred towards persons belonging to any ethnic group, religion or sexual orientation and sites which infringe copyright or are contrary to UK laws.

2.3 The copyright for all material provided by Adire, such as code, graphics, photographs and text, will remain the property of Adire until such time as payment has been made in full whereupon they will become the property of the client.

3. Search Engine Optimization

3.1 Adire will submit a client's website to several of the major search engines as part of the initial design contract. We also make the website search engine friendly and try to include keywords when appropriate. If a client wishes Adire to promote a web site as a separate contract, Adire will make every reasonable effort to promote the website effectively but cannot guarantee high placings in search engine results.

4. Providing Contact Details

4.1 It is the responsibility of the customer to notify Adire of any changes to phone number, e-mail address or any contact details.

5. Payment

5.1 Adire expects payment by cheque, transfer or cash within 14 days of the date on the invoice.

6. Security

6.1 Adire takes every possible care to ensure there computer network is not compromised and that secure data is kept secure. However should events outside of our control interrupt the service we provide or any agreement we have. Then Adire cannot be held responsible for any data theft or data loss.
