Adire Hosted Email Setup for GMail

This post details how to setup your adire hosted emails to work with Gmail as your email client.

Firstly, login to gmail and click the setting icon and then the setting link:


Go to the accounts tab, where it says “Send mail as”, click “Add another email address you own”.


Enter your name and full email address.


Type your full email as your username. use “” for the server. Enter your email password and click “Add account”.


Go back to the account settings tab and click “Add a POP3 mail account you own”.


Enter your full adrees as your username. Enter your password. Enter the server as Set the port to 993 and tick to leave a message on the server and always use a secure connection (SSL). Click “Add account”


Adire Hosted Email Setup for iPhone

Tap the Settings Icon to enter the Settings menu.


Tap on the Mail, Contacts, Calendars menu.


Tap on the Add Account… Menu to add your new email account.


Tap the Other option at the bottom of the list.


Tap Add Mail Account at the top of the menu.


Enter the your information into the fields

Name: Your Name
Address: Your email address
Password: Your Password
Description: As show below

Then tap the Next button.


Check all the fields are completed as show below and Tap the Next


Adire Hosted Email Setup for Outlook 2

Changes to the server requires that some customers make changes to their email settings. If you are experiencing difficulties, please try the following:

If your email account is set up as a POP3 account, make a back up of your emails, then delete the account and set up an IMAP account for your email address using the information in the guide below.

If your email account is set up as an IMAP account, simply make the following changes:

Go into the account settings for the account you need to update:


Then select the account and click “change”:


From there, match your settings to the following image:


Then via “More Settings” change the settings in the Outgoing Server and Advance tabs:



This should resolve any issues that you may be experiencing, however do not hesitate to contact us if you are still having email problems.
